Hello! I am Cassandra and I hate writing about myself. My blog life began in 2002, mostly as a way to document my life because I have a terrible memory. In 2004, I became a professional writer, reviewing Japanese music and anime and various other things in Japanese pop culture. Eventually, this expanded into American cartoons. Though that meant I spent way too much time watching television geared toward young children. I’m not sure my brain ever recovered.

In 2007, my world opened up when I decided to start my own public blog, The Geek Within. It covered “geeky” things like video games, Japanese dramas, American reality television shows, and whatever else seemed interesting. But it still felt limiting. I felt the need to stay in that “geeky” box. So, in 2014, I changed the name of the website to Cassandra Morgan. Here you will find my annual Christmas Movie Challenge, where I challenge myself to watch every single Christmas movie released in a year. (Spoiler: There are a LOT of them.)
