Stephen Fry in America

Lately, I've been watching Stephen Fry in America. Basically, British entertainer Stephen Fry drives around the United States in a British taxi trying to get a feel for all things American. While it is fairly interesting, it's also really short. He hits all 50 states in only six episodes so some states kinda get the shaft. However, it is nice that he does show some of the poorer sections of the country. It's not all rich white people. (By the way, if you are hurting for money, things like car title loans Nebraska are terrible ideas. The interest rate is so high that it's not worth borrowing the money in the first place. Just a helpful hint!) I only have two more episodes to watch. I'm interested to see what he thinks about the west coast.

Carnival time!

Once again, this week has gotten away from me. Memorial Day fell a week earlier than usual this year and it has messed me up big time. Everything seems to be going faster than normal. My daughter's last day of school is this coming Thursday. That is so much earlier than last year. And her dance recital is an entire week after that. It's just so weird! But there is a carnival in town this week so that will help relieve a little bit of end-of-school-year stress. And I'm hoping to pick up some lovely smelling body wash to relax my muscles a bit as well. Summer time, here we come!
