As we all know, there are tons of acne 'cures' that claim to have awesome results. What I want to know is - what are your best acne treatments? Personally, I don't do much more than washing my face with an over-the-counter facial cleanser. I'll change up brands every couple of months but that's about it. I want to hear your routine.
JDorama review: Ikebukuro West Gate Park Special
Title: Ikebukuro West Gate Park Special
Also known as: IWGP Sp
Broadcast date: ??
Number of episodes: 1
Genre: drama
Cast: Nagase Tomoya, Sato Ryuta
Plot: Taking place three years after the series, Makoto and his mother are currently homeless. She is staying with various friends (like King's father's sauna) while Makoto sleeps in their now-traveling fruit stand truck. One day, a homeless man wakes Makoto to tell him about a rash of homeless beatings. Ken, the leader of the homeless, wants Makoto to find the culprit. Meanwhile, Makoto is feeling restless in Bukuro.
What is good: The last half hour or so is pretty good.
What is bad: Boring!
Letter rating: F
Overall: While I didn't particularly like the series, it was at least interesting on some point. The special is painstakingly boring. There's two full-length songs sung in concert form for no real reason. Yes, both of the musical acts are important to either the storyline or a character revelation but the songs weren't really necessary. Kubozuka Yosuke, who played King in the original, is absent for a majority of the show. In his absence, both of the major gangs from the series have set up ramen shops. There is a sub-plot about which gang makes the best ramen. Now I know why I put off watching this for so long.
Las Vegas hotels
I've never been to Las Vegas before but I have a couple of friends who live there. Some of the vegas hotels are absolutely gorgeous! They look more like resorts than hotels! Now that my husband has a new job that will pay him more, maybe we'll get the chance to travel more. That would definitely mean a trip to Vegas.

I've recently grown to like Puffy (or Puffy AmiYumi if you aren't in Japan) as a music group. Here is one of my favorite songs:
Game reiew: Farm Frenzy 2
Do you remember how much I loved Farm Frenzy? Well, this is a company that knows how to make an awesome sequel to an awesome game. They didn't try to make the gameplay different; they didn't try to jazz up the graphics. All they did was change a few things to make it a little more difficult. In the original game, you were raising geese and sheep in order to make money. This time, you have chickens, pigs, cows and ostriches. Yes, I said ostriches. I worked my butt off to be able to buy some ostriches because their feathers bring in a lot of money! Not only that, but you can make hats and dresses out of them as well. I love this series and I hope everyone else has as much fun playing it as I did.
Golf can be fun...
While I wouldn't call myself a 'golfer,' I have played the game. It's not my favorite but I did it. My husband has expressed an interest in trying to play. Of course, my over-active imagination started thinking of Orlando golf courses. Not because they are beautiful or good courses but simply because, if he decides he hates the game, we can go visit Disney or something. Might as well make a whole vacation out of it!
Game review: Jane's Realty
The Jane's Hotel series has yet another sequel. This time, in Jane's Realty, Jane is helping her husband run a real estate business. While it is completely different from the first two games, is it any good? In short, not really. The first two "Jane" games were time management, hotel-themed games where you were assisting customers with their wants. I'm not even sure I could classify this one as a time management game. There are no customers for you to serve but each level does have a few goals. At the start of each level, you need to purchase land and build both an electric and a water company. From there, you can start to build houses but you can only build so many before you need to upgrade the companies. Of course, all of this requires money, which you can only get by renting the houses you build. Needless to say, I didn't get far in the game before this stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't raise enough money to finish all of my goals so I couldn't pass the level. I've played the level five different times and I still can't figure out the key to passing it. And I'm not even halfway through the game!
In all honesty, Realore Studios should take Jane back to the time management game. She can move up from the hotel business. Give her a casino business perhaps. Or, if they really want to keep her in the realty business, take a tip from Build-A-Lot or even Build in Time. The key time management elements need to rule the game.
Condo Hotels?
Back when I lived in North Carolina, my then-boyfriend and I went on a trip with some friends. I believe we stayed at a condo hotel or something like that. I didn't make the reservations so I'm not sure exactly how the place was classified. However, it was really nice. Maybe the next time my family gets to go on vacation, we'll take a look at a condo hotel. It just might make our vacation nicer.

This is pretty amazing. It's a wind powered turbine in Denmark exploding during a hurricane.
New Knives
My husband is the one that does all the cooking in our house. I know that our kitchen desperately needs new knives so I was thinking about getting him a Rubis set for Christmas this year. It's definitely something he'd use a lot and it would make preparing the food a ton easier. I'm just not how sure he'd appreciate it. Wouldn't it be kinda like a husband getting a wife a vacuum cleaner for her birthday? Maybe I'll just buy them anyway. Not for a holiday, just for the heck of it.
