Building stuff can be pretty neat. However, depending on what you are building, it can require tons of specialized equipment. Stuff like industrial clamps or soldering tools or even just super glue. My grandfather used to build all sorts of neat things when I was younger. The projects I remember most are these huge wooden butterflies he would craft. I vividly remember being absolutely amazed by the workmanship put into them. I wish I could do that myself.
